Logo
Logo design
A mark that reads on a shopfront sign, in an Instagram avatar and on a receipt. Fixed price, no «depends on complexity».
What usually goes wrong
A logo is drawn to look good large — then it falls apart in an avatar, disappears on a dark background and cannot be printed in one colour. Or it copies a competitor, and the business stops being distinguishable. Most often the client ends up with a single JPG and can do nothing else with it.
How we work
We test the mark where it will actually live: 32 pixels in an avatar, a sign, one-colour print, a dark background. You get vector plus every format you need, with usage rules. Full rights transfer to you — it is written into our terms.
What you get
- Two visual directions to choose from, then deep work on the chosen one
- Vector in SVG, AI and PDF — scales without quality loss
- PNG with transparent background for social media, documents, decks
- Black-and-white and inverted version for dark backgrounds
- Horizontal and compact variants of the mark
- Legibility check down to 16 pixels
- CMYK files for print, RGB for screen
- A short guide: clear space, minimum size, what not to do
Why logo prices differ so much
The market spread is huge: a freelance marketplace sells a logo for the price of a lunch, an agency charges the price of a used car. Both numbers buy different things.
At the bottom you usually buy a picture: a stock template with your name on it, delivered as one JPG. The mark may not even be yours, since templates are sold to hundreds of people, and it falls apart at small sizes because nobody checked.
At the top you buy research: market analysis, several concepts, testing across media, a forty page presentation. That is justified for a large company and wasted on a two location cafe.
Our price is fixed. For it you get a working mark: two directions, refinement of the chosen one, vector and every format, small size and black and white checks, and full rights.
What is included and what is paid separately
Included: vector source files, transparent PNGs, dark background and print versions, and a short usage guide with clear space and minimum size.
Paid separately: trademark registration fees and the work of a patent attorney, if you decide to register the mark. We hand over files in the formats the registry accepts, but the procedure itself is run by an attorney.
Also separate: paid typefaces. By default we use freely licensed fonts so you pay nothing extra. If you want a specific commercial font, the licence is bought in your business name and stays yours.
How to spot a bad logo in ten minutes
Shrink it to the size of an Instagram avatar. If the details merge, it will fail exactly where people see it most.
Convert it to black and white. A mark that survives only as a gradient will break on a stamp, an embroidery or any single colour print.
Put it on a dark background. If a separate version is needed and you were not given one, the work is unfinished.
And the simplest test: ask for the SVG. If you get a JPG and are told the vector costs extra, you were sold a picture, not a logo.
How it works
- 01
Brief
A few concrete questions: what you do, for whom, what you like about competitors and what you do not.
- 02
Directions
We show two genuinely different directions, not two shades of one. You pick one.
- 03
Drawing
We refine the chosen mark: proportions, weights, legibility at small sizes.
- 04
Revisions
Two rounds are included. More by agreement, though it is rarely needed.
- 05
Handover
An archive with every format and the usage guide. The files stay yours.

Common questions
How long does a logo take?
3–5 working days from brief to handover if revisions come back without long pauses. If you need it faster, say so upfront — we usually manage.
How many options do you show?
Two directions. Deliberately: showing ten turns the choice into a lottery and lowers the quality of each. Two different directions, then deep work on the chosen one.
Who owns the logo?
You do, fully and without limits: use, modification, trademark registration. We only keep the right to show the work in our portfolio, and even that with your consent.
Can this logo be registered as a trademark?
Yes. We hand over vector files in the formats trademark offices accept. The registration itself is done by a trademark attorney — a separate service with separate state fees.
What if neither direction fits?
We show one more, free of charge. It rarely happens, because directions are agreed after the brief rather than guessed.
Is a logo enough to look professional?
No, and it is worth saying plainly. A logo is a mark, not a style. To make everything look consistently yours you need type, colour and rules — that is a Brand Kit. Without it a logo quickly drifts.
Do you redesign an existing logo?
Yes. Often the mark itself is fine but nobody prepared it for real life: no vector, no dark background version, no rules. That is cheaper than drawing from scratch. Send us your files and we will say honestly which route is better value.
Do I need a logo if I only have Instagram for now?
Yes, because the avatar is the first thing people see and it is exactly where most marks stop being readable. It is enough at the start, but as soon as a website, packaging or print appears you will need usage rules, which is the Brand Kit.
